Most Los Angeles Lakers fans were thrilled when LeBron James announced he'd be joining the storied franchise. Most—but not all. Some, particularly Kobe Bryant stans, didn't want LBJ on their squad.
As the Lakers' controlling owner and president Jeannie Buss sees it, those people aren't real Lakers fans anyway. Buss expressed her perspective during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show Wednesday.
"They're not Laker fans if they're not happy about LeBron joining the team," Buss said. "There was some unrest and some uneasiness, and I just think those were troublemakers that don't get it. I think Los Angeles is gonna be very proud of the way that LeBron will represent the Lakers team. And they're gonna fall in love with him, too."

There's polarity among the L.A. fan base. For example, one artist created a very cool "King of L.A." mural featuring LeBron, but it was quickly defaced.
Love him or hate him, he's going to be around Hollywood for a long time. LBJ didn't just sign a one-year deal with the purple and gold—he agreed to a four-year max deal.
Winning cures all, and we're guessing if LBJ can lead the Lakers back to the promised land, even his most vehement critics will come around.
The Lakers' first game is slated for Oct. 18 against the Portland Trailblazers.
