LaVar Ball Continues to Sound Off on Lakers Signing LeBron James

Asked what he sees in the future for the NBA, LaVar Ball guaranteed multiple championships for the Lakers and predicted that all of his sons will end up on the team.

As soon as LeBron James signed with the Lakers and became teammates with Lonzo Ball, it was a foregone conclusion that we'd be hearing plenty of wild quotes from the loudest dad in sports—LaVar Ball.

Speaking with TMZ Sports on Tuesday, Ball was quick to remind everyone that he had predicted LeBron coming to L.A. months ago. "I called LeBron to L.A.," he told the cameras. "I knew he was coming to L.A., man. Everything lined up for me. Didn't I tell y'all to call him L.A.-Bron?"

Asked what he sees in the future for the NBA, Ball guaranteed multiple championships for the Lakers and predicted that all of his sons will end up on the team. "Some championships for the Lakers. I'm tellin' y'all. LeBron got a four year deal, right? I hope he get four in a row. But if not, I guarantee two when all my boys is on the Lakers with him."

Of course, the Golden State Warriors and their recent acquisition of DeMarcus Cousins will be a tough obstacle for the Lakers. To the surprise of no one, LaVar isn't worried. "The Warriors can sign Boogie, Prince, Michael Jordan, anybody they want, and they still ain't going to win with this team right here," he said. "The Lakers with LeBron? You going to give my son the best player in the game and don't think he going to win no championships?"

Tuesday's TMZ interview wasn't the first time LaVar has excitedly made predictions about the Lakers' future since LeBron announced his decision. On Monday, he explained how Lonzo will run the offense and get the ball in his new teammates' hands.

"Lonzo ain't going to play off the ball," he said. "How's LeBron going to play point? Lonzo will be pushing and he get it out of his hands too quick. Lonzo don't do all that dribbling. All he got to do is run the lane and the pass going to be right on the money. ...We going to play so fast, he'll throw him touchdown passes and be scoring all day. And then when he don't, he going to throw the long pass and Lonzo will shoot the three-pointer very easy."

Many people are predicting that the Lakers will trade Ball now that James has arrived in town. Until that moment comes, though, it seems to be a pretty safe bet that we'll continue to get wild sound bites from LaVar.
