The Nike x Stone Island Collaboration Will Release On Stone Island's New App

The Italian brand is starting to put roots down in the States

Stone Island is wrapping up a banner year. The brand killed 2015 in pretty much every regard. Both of its seasonal collections were worth coveting, its installation in SoHo turned some heads and its upcoming Nikelab collaboration has some hype behind it. If you weren't acquainted with Stone Island at the start of 2015, you definitely are now. But the cap to the year is the brand's new app exclusive to North America. While there are no dedicated Stone Island locations here, the app will act as an introduction to the brand and its history in an easy-to-digest way, hopefully bringing on new customers. It's broken down into four distinct sections: 

Story - the brand's philosophy and history complete with insights from Stone Island president and creative director Carlo Rivetti. 

Archive - a chronicling of major moments, particularly related to material research and development, throughout the brand's history. 

Hub - a center for any brand information you could want, including photos for seasonal releases. 

Store - exactly what you think it is: a pop-up store that will have special and exclusive product releases. 

Speaking of exclusive product releases, that Nikelab Windrunner collaboration releases tomorrow through the Stone Island app at 1 p.m. EST. It will also release through Nike.
