Everybody cries. Personally, I cried about six times yesterday, but of course, when Justin Bieber cries in public next to his fiancé Hailey Baldwin, it quickly becomes a viral national emergency that needs to be investigated. I’m fine, btw.
The main crying incident took place on Tuesday in New York City, when the singer broke down during a bike ride with Baldwin. This caused some fans to worry the couple might be headed for a break up after less than a month of being engaged. Or maybe Biebs just scraped his knee? Before the bike ride, the two were also seen crying in a cafe earlier this week.
Turns out, as he explained to TMZ, Justin is simply really emotional about getting married. He showed off a book to the tabloid titled The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment With the Wisdom of God by Presbyterian “mega-pastor” Timothy Keller. “This,” Bieber said, carrying the book. “You got good days, and you got bad days. It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days.”
Coming from the kid who loves Hillsong, I can’t say this choice of literature is all that surprising. Given the current wave of quick engagementsthis summer, a little premarital reading certainly couldn’t hurt the young celebrity couple. In other related news, Bieber got a haircut today.
