Chance the Rapper and Nick Cannon went in for round two.

On Friday’s season premiere of MTV's Wild ‘N Out, Chano returned to the improv battle series for his much-anticipated rematch against host and creator Nick Cannon. And this time, the entertainers didn’t hold any punches.

Chance got to roasting Nick, calling him a "nerdy, Killmonger lookin' ass," and then proceeding to flame his braids. He then called him an "emo Quavo lookin' ass boy." After that strong start, the crowd started to get into it.

The roast session didn't stop there. During the Wildstyle round, Chance showed Nick Cannon the reason why he's famous.

But in the end, it was all love between the two entertainers.

Chance took a moment to thank Nick Cannon for creating the show, a platform that has spawned many careers for entertainers, musicians and comics alike. "I can’t thank Nick Cannon enough for creating and KEEPING an incredible and legendary platform for young comics, musicians, actors and creatives of all sort to come shine and have good time while doing it," the rapper wrote. "That's a real dude and it's an honor every time to be up there with him."

Chance appeared on Wild ‘N Out last summer, when he secured bragging rights by defeating Cannon’s squad. This season was filmed in Atlanta for the first time ever, and will include celebrity team captains like BlocBoy JB, Bow Wow, Chloe x Halle, Da Brat, and maybe Azealia Banks.

In a recent interview with Paste magazine, Cannon spoke about the improv show and how it has evolved since its 2005 debut.

“It’s the longest running hip-hop show ever and one of the longest running comedies ever. You know what I mean?” he said. “Just in general, when you think of a variety show, a comedy variety show that has lasted this long, and it all started from just me and my friends hanging out and me coming up with an idea because we’d be in the back of comedy clubs literally wild ‘n’ out. Doing improv, rapping, talking about each other’s mothers, all that stuff. And I knew that energy was special.”
