The Boy is back with several more shots for K. Dot. and some praise for Taylor Swift.
Late on Friday, April 19, just a few days after Drake dropped off his "Push Ups" diss track responding to what felt like half of the rap game (Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, and others), the 6 God returned with another fiery song a la "Back to Back." "While we wait on you I guess," Drake captioned his post introducing the explosive song to the world and taunting Kendrick to respond.
The track, which is titled "Taylor Made Freestyle," features what appears to be verses from 2Pac and Snoop Dogg that were created using artificial intelligence and written by Drizzy. The For All the Dogs rapper's use of Pac and Snoop's voices is no coincidence. For one, Kendrick's reverence for the late 2Pac has been well-documented over the years. The AI troll from Drake arrives on the heels of over 200 artists including Nicki Minaj, Billie Eilish, and Metro Boomin signing an an open letter denouncing the "predatory use of AI."
"Taylor Made" opens with a verse from AI 2Pac, who gives Kendrick advice about how to approach the beef and suggests he attack Drake for dating younger women:
Kendrick, we need yea... the West Coast Savior... If you deal with this viciously You seem a little nervous about all the publicity Fuck this Canadian light-skin... We need an undebated West Coast victory Call him a bitch for me
Talk about him liking young girls, that's a gift from me
Heard it on the Budden Podcast, it's gotta be true
The "young girls" line is likely in reference to criticism Drake has received for his friendship with Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown. In 2018, when Brown was 14 years old, she opened up about texting with the then 31-year-old Toronto rapper.
"We just texted the other day and he was like ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like ‘I miss you more!‘ ... He’s great. He’s wonderful. I love him," Brown, who also called Drake "a great role model," said at the time.
Drake previously called out "weirdos" for suggesting he had an improper relationship with the actress on his For All the Dogs song "Another Late Night."

AI Pac continues:

AI Snoop then hops on the track and calls back to the 2011 moment in which Snoop, as well as other West Coast legends like Warren G, Kurupt, and The Game, famously passed the proverbial torch to Kendrick.

Snoop seemingly caught wind of his likeness being used on "Taylor Made" and shared a video of him responding.
The track, which was posted to Drake's Instagram account, also sees the Toronto artist rapping about Kendrick's lack of a response in the third and final verse:

The next one is really 'bout to bring out the coward in you
But now we gotta wait a fucking week 'cause Taylor Swift is the your new Top

Drizzy continues:

While the song appears to squarely take aim at Kendrick, Drizzy, towards the end of the track, sends a warning to "the rest of y'all," who he says "are definitely involved."
On the track's outro, Drake brings up Taylor Swift, who he calls the "biggest gangster in the music game right now," and trolls Kendrick's lyricism.

While he didn't use artificial intelligence to mimic people's voices, Kendrick previously utilized deepfake technology in his music video for "The Heart Part 5." The video features Dot morphing into O. J. Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, and Nipsey Hussle.
"Taylor Made" was released just a few hours after Drake uploaded his "Push Ups" diss to streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify. "Push Ups" initially leaked last weekend, turning the temperature up in the back and forth between Drake and his several detractors.
Prior to that, things ratcheted up with the drop of Kendrick's verse on Metro Boomin and Future's "Like That," itself a response to Drake and J. Cole's "First Person Shooter."
