A woman has been granted a temporary restraining order against Chris Brown in Los Angeles, reports The Blast. The woman, whose name is Cassandra, claims Brown "follows" and "stalks" her, and she also accused him of hitting her. Brown is required to stay 100 yards away from her. The details of her allegations are not yet clear.
Brown's physical and emotional harm toward women has been well-documented. Just last month, a woman claimed she was repeatedly raped at Brown's house and filed a lawsuit against him. The allegations included gender violence, hate violence, assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Brown was also named in a petition that requested artists who have "sexually and physically abused women" be removed from Spotify following the company's announcement of its hate content and hateful conduct policy. The policy has since been rolled back.
Karrueche Tran was granted a restraining order against Brown almost exactly a year ago. Tran said she wanted to ensure her safety after the couple split.
Back in 2009, Brown turned himself in after physically assaulting Rihanna and pleaded guilty to felony assault. Brown served almost five years probation for the incident.
These latest allegations come a week before Chris Brown is scheduled to begin his Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour. Additional guests on the upcoming tour include 6lack, Rich the Kid, and H.E.R.
