Just months after the Weeknd dropped My Dear Melancholy, in a surprise release, the artist has released a limited edition merch collection based on the No. 1 project. The items will be available on his merch website for 96 hours only.
Each cut-and-sew item in the seven-piece collection collection feature lyric and album references. The T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, and hoodies have all been created in an oversized fit and feature custom exterior woven labels. The collection will also include a Levi’s denim vest with a custom wash treatment and distressing.
My Dear Melancholy, debuted at No. 1 when it was released back in April. One of the albums standout songs, “Call Out My Name,” debuted at No. 4 and was given the music video treatment with dark, moody visuals. Since then, the artist has been behind a number of merchandise releases, including a signature festival line to commemorate his Coachella performance and a 15-piece summer XO drop last month, his second merch drop of the year.
In addition to these releases, the singer also released a limited edition capsule in conjunction with his Marvel comic book seriesStarboy that featured the comic’s main characters.
