Fresh off launch of their SS18 men’s collection, Daily Paper returns to South Africa to capture their new collection titled ‘Transcend Borders’.
The lookbook looked to the fierce independence of the Basotho tribe in Lesotho as a core point of inspiration.
Lesotho provides strong contrasts, from narrow valleys to cold mountains, also housing the largest ski resort in Africa. The unusual association of skiing and Africa serves the idea of transcending expectations, an idea carried forward by Daily Paper in creating this collection.
Transcend Borders highlights transformational travel through the use of fabrication and print, with graphics referencing Africa’s largest airports, passport stamps, and Lesotho’s landscapes.
Finishing off the collection is an updated accessory range, consisting of passport bags, wallets, and backpack totes.
