Abloh recently gave an extensive interview to Hypebeast, during which he traced the influence of Off-White back all the way back to Warhol. "More than anything, I feel like I'm a descendant of everyone from Kanye West and Pharrell Williams to Basquiat or Warhol," he said. "You know, I'm no one, sort of, as the first statement. The second statement is we're a part of a generation, a movement that goes beyond just the website Hypebeast."

As we reported in January, Abloh—if Off-White's Fall/Winter 2018 Paris show is any indication—is far from peaking. "I don't expect him to slow down at all," designer John Elliott told Complex. "His momentum today is a testament to what you can expect from the rest of the year."

If you happen to be in San Francisco next Friday, catch Abloh with DJ Harvey and special guest Heron Preston at 1015 Folsom. Tickets are presently available but are expected to sell all the way out.
