Tourne de Transmission presents their AW17 campaign visuals, 'Nowhere', providing an exploration through digital and analog mediums.

The collections namesake stems from the RIDE track of the same name, reflecting the brand's creative director - Graeme Gaughen - and his "inability to change a bigger situation."

Speaking on the inspirations that form the foundations of the collection, Graeme said:

“Considering my usual wanderlust inspired seasonal journeys that look toward distant clothing cultures. AW17 looks inward and squarely at my home and where I grew up. Reflecting on my teenage years, and trying in some way to understand how my adolescent self would react to the recent political isolation of youth, the division of ideals and loss of cultural icons."

The distorted visuals present a transition between digital and analogue transmission, creating an immersive visual landscape focused on alternative methods communication. Prints are used to evoke this, with a white noise style pattern appearing across several pieces of apparel.
