After the first installment dropped at the end of last year, NikeLab and Stone Island have joined forces again for the second part of their ongoing collaboration. The latest installment from the two brands is a rework of the Nike Windrunner, which first dropped back in 1979, three years before Stone Island was founded. The Windrunner was designed to combine form, function and emotion, as well as providing runners with protection against the elements that doesn't inhibit them. The jacket features Nike's classic design, as well as showing the two brands' joint focus on innovation.

The new Windrunner features two different nylons, the Hyper Light Membrana and Membrana 3L TC, to keep out the elements, as well as coming in bold colourways that represent the colour blocking associated with the OG Nike Windrunners. The lightweight jacket can also packed away into it's left pocket, and carried with an attachable strap.

Have a look at the NikeLab x Stone Island Windrunner below, and it's available from September 8 at nike.com and select retailers.
