Chloe Kim is best known for being a total Olympic hero. The 17-year-old won the gold medal in the women’s snowboard halfpipe at this year’s Winter Olympics in Pyeongyang and won the hearts of Americans across the country in the process. She’s also a proven music fan, faithfully sporting headphones before every run during this year’s games. She’s told multiple outlets that she was listening to either “Motorsport” by Migos, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” or even “Toxic” by Britney Spears while gearing up to compete.
Last night, at the ESPYs after-party, G-Eazy got on stage to perform his hit “No Limit,” and since Cardi B was nowhere to be found, he needed some help when it came time for the Bronx native’s verse. He knew exactly who to turn to: Chloe Kim herself, who was front row. Both the snowboarder and TMZ shared videos of Kim’s rapper moment from different angles.
so this went down last night with G-Eazy hahaha pic.twitter.com/bx7xq3yN6Z
She didn’t miss a beat and rapped Cardi’s verse front to back with a seriously perfect flow, rapping along to every single word (except, of course, that one she really shouldn’t say.)
Hahah I love you guys thank you! And yes I did skip that word so y’all can chill 😂❤️ https://t.co/2vARWahOvt
By the way: this was after Kim had won three ESPY awards. She became the first snowboarder to ever win an overall category by winning Best Female Athlete, and also took home the trophies for Best U.S. Female Olympian and Best Female Action Sports Athlete.
3 out of 3!! Thank you guys so much for the votes!!! I love you allll so so much!! pic.twitter.com/m1GO3TQt3p
If Kim’s angling for some kind of rap shadow career, then she’s already got two basic skills down: the rap flow and the top-notch bling. TMZ also reports that Kim called on Ben Baller to make the bling she wore to the ESPYs. She ended up going with an 18K gold diamond Cuban choker that boasted 24 carats in diamonds and 300 grams in gold valued at $40,000.
