LiAngelo Ball Joining LaMelo in LaVar Ball's Junior Basketball Association

After a brief run with UCLA and one professional season in Lithuania, LiAngelo Ball declared for the NBA Draft. He went undrafted, though (despite fans' chants for him before the final pick), and wasn't picked up for Summer League. Now he's plotting his next move.

We don't yet know whether he'll return to Europe, but we now know his short-term plan: he's joining the league run by his father, LaVar, the Junior Basketball Association. LiAngelo will make his debut Thursday in Ontario.

LiAngelo will join his little brother's team, the Los Angeles Ballers. He attended his first Ballers practice Saturday. The JBA announced the news with a press release.

"After NBA teams surprisingly passed on LiAngelo Ball, he went to work out and give the teams that passed on him a show," the release stated.

The JBA debuted late in June, the same day as the NBA Draft, and received light attendance.

LiAngelo should play professionally somewhere, but it probably won't happen in Lithuania. After they returned to the States, he and LaMelo spoke negatively of their teammates and the experience in general.
