The Dream Team known as the Golden State Warriors has went back-to-back, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in a four game sweep, to once again win the NBA Finals.

LeBron James and the Cavs, without the help of Kyrie Irving, who is now on the Boston Celtics, were unable to match the power of the Warriors.
The game was a blowout, with the final score being 108-85. James, who left the game in the fourth quarter with about four minutes remaining on the clock, received a standing ovation from the crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena. Kevin Durant, who was named Finals MVP in 2017, once again received the honor.
It's the first NBA Finals sweep since 2007. That contest ironically also had LeBron James and the Cavs in it, with the opposing team that did the sweeping being the San Antonio Spurs. It was the Cavs' very first trip to the NBA Finals in franchise history.
Now that the NBA Finals are over, we can get back to speculating about where LeBron will end up. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has recently said that James will meet with the Boston Celtics, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Houston Rockets, and even Golden State (probably, hopefully, not). Only time will tell if he packs his bags and goes to another city, or if he's going to stick it out in Cleveland.

In related news, Donald Trump, who now happens to be the President of the United States of America, has said that the winner of the contest will not be invited to the White House. The saltiness comes after Steph Curry and LeBron James, when asked if they'd accept Trump's invitation if they win the Finals, both said: Nah, we good.
Trump's most recent act of sports-related pettiness comes on the heels of the reality television star disinviting the Philadelphia Eagles from the White House.
