Kevin Durant on Stephen Curry Dropping the F-Bomb: ‘F*ck Yeah’

Kevin Durant endorses Stephen Curry dropping the F-bomb when he's fired up.

If you were to run off some names of the most innocent athletes in recent professional sports history, Stephen Curry would be on the shortlist, right there with Tim Tebow ... and Tim Duncan? Does that work?

Because of that, it was kind of wild (or at least out of character) when Curry yelled "This is my fuckin' house!" after hitting a tough layup in the third quarter of the Warriors' 126-85 WCF Game 3 win over the Rockets. Check it out, it doesn't take a genius to lip read this:

That F-bomb got Stephen, a grown man, admonished by his mother, Sonya. As Stephen told ESPN afterward "[My mom] already sent me two home videos, showing me the clip and playing it back. She was telling me how I need to wash my mouth out, saying to wash it out with soap. It's a message I've heard before."

Not surprisingly, his teammates didn't feel the same way. In addition to Klay Thompson saying, "It got Oracle pretty fired up. That's a rare occurrence. I've never really seen Steph use that language, but that's what the playoffs bring out of you. Don't do that at home, kids. It's just once in awhile." Kevin Durant also endorsed his teammate's message by stating "Fuck yeah" he likes it when Curry tosses that word out there:

"I heard him curse a couple times," KD said. "When he releases an F-bomb of course I like it. That word is just an important word when you're playing basketball. It means so much. I just like his excitement for the game, and his intensity. Our crowd feeds off of that and we feed off our crowd."

Take note youngsters.
