Drake sat courtside during the second game of the Raptors' playoff series with the Wizards on Tuesday night, and he had some words for John Wall.
At some point during the Raptors' 130-119 victory to take a 2-0 series lead, Drake hollered at the five-time NBA All-Star, "John, you're getting bodied by 20 tonight." Fortunately, for those of us not lucky enough to secure courtside seats, someone filmed the whole interraction.
The beef between Drake and Wall began earlier in the week on Instagram. Drake commented on Wall's post before the Wizards star responded, "we want all the smoke !!! Let's get it."
Drake didn't hold his courtside taunting just to Wall, either. Midway through the fourth quarter, he called Wizards forward Kelly Oubre a "bum" after the Raptors buried a three to extend their lead. Savage.
Although Wall's Wizards lost, he did put up a decent stat line: 29 points, 9 steals, and 4 rebounds on 9-17 shooting from the field. He was a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line.
Of course, now that the Raptors are cruising with a 2-0 series lead, it isn't likely that Drake will quiet himself anytime soon—not that he doesn't have other things on his mind. His next album Scorpion will arrive in June, and his new single "Nice for What" just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
