Converse and JW Anderson come together once again to release the final chapter of their collaborative collection.
NEW_CLASSICS dives deeper into Anderson’s imagination, further reimagining Converse’s classic silhouettes as a signal of what the future holds for further collaboration between the two.
This collection houses a juxtaposition of natural materials and tech to provide a re-interpretation of the Chuck 70 U-Throat. An open cotton mix and leather detailing are applied to the Chuck 70 XX Hi and Chuck 70 U-Throat, with a lacing system that allows for a variation in styling. The iconic vulcanized sole that lends itself to Converse brand silhouettes has had a black and off-white print detail applied to its rubber tape, inspired by the textile wrapped midsole of the aforementioned vintage slipper.
Converse x JW Anderson NEW_CLASSICS is set to release on April 4th via Converse and JW Anderson’s online stores, with further releases at JW Anderson Workshops and select retailers worldwide. Take a closer look at the collection below.
