Police Close Jamie Foxx Penis-Slapping Investigation

Las Vegas police are dropping its investigation into Jamie Foxx after a woman came forward last month and accused the actor of slapping her in the face with his penis.

According to Las Vegas police, Jamie Foxx is completely off the hook for an incident where he allegedly slapped a woman in the face with his penis without her consent in 2002. Per TMZ, police concede the accusation is well outside the Las Vegas statute of limitations (three years) and has closed its investigation without pressing charges.

The allegation broke mid-June. In response, Foxx denied the incident, calling it an “absurd” lie.

The woman told police she was attending a party at the actor’s place in Las Vegas when he asked her to perform oral sex. When she refused, she claimed Foxx struck her with his genitalia. She claimed she went to the hospital after suffering a panic attack related to the assault after returning home to L.A. the next day.

Allison Hart, Foxx’s attorney, told TMZ last month that he "emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred.” The actor also threatened to file a counter-police report with the LVPD against the woman, but it’s unclear if that ever happened or if he still plans to extend that energy since the case is closed.

The allegation spurred a number of unwarranted comments related to sexual assault and the larger #MeToo movement. TMZ decided to ask Drake’s father Dennis Graham about the incident, which prompted Graham's victim-blaming response. “Jamie is my brother and I really can’t comment on what happened 16 years ago,” he said. “But there is something I want to say to these young ladies that allow themselves to go and be in a man’s room or whatever. Stop going to these hotels.”

Bow Wow also offered up his two cents about the ordeal—something no one asked for or needed—and disseminated a shallow conspiracy theory about the #MeToo movement and famous women's rights lawyer Gloria Allred.
