Cipha Sounds is heading out on the road.

The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour is presenting a run of shows with Cipha called Take It Personal that will kick off at the end of May. The multi-talented comedian, host, broadcaster, and DJ will be joined each night by hip-hop artist Nitty Scott, improv group A Tribe Called Yes, and special guests.

Based on Cipha's hip-hop-meets-improv weekly live show of the same name, the Take It Personal Tour will feature emerging comedians as well as a star-studded revolving cast of guests. "I’m excited for my first ever comedy and music tour," Cipha says. "I’ve been part of the Monster family for a minute and we’re hitting the road with my girl Nitty. My dream in life is to spread the joy of improv comedy to the world and I’m super excited Monster Energy and Outbreak are helping me mesh comedy and music on the road."

Giving a peek at what to expect, Steve Glazer, founder of the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour says it will be "part stand-up comedy, part improv, and part music mixed with storytelling; we've never seen a tour of this kind and are moved by the genuine, ambitious nature of the concept. Introducing people not only to new artists, but also to innovative creative platforms is exactly what Outbreak is all about."

Back in February, Complex spoke with Cipha about the ups and downs of attempting to bridge improv comedy and music. "The low point is, straight up, no one’s ever really done it by themselves," he said. "Dave Chappelle always had musical guests on his comedy show. There’s always musical guests on Saturday Night Live. That part has been done. But who can actually DJ and do stand-up, or do improv? The only people close to me are Nick Cannon—he has Wild ’N Out and he also DJs, I’ve never seen him do both at once. And Drake is very funny when he does SNL. To be someone who could be the musical guest and the host of SNL, that’s my dream."

The Take It Personal Tour begins on May 31 in Boston. Tickets go on sale April 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. ET right here. Check out the full schedule below.
