Since Oprah’s historic Golden Globes speech, people have been begging and praying that Ms. Winfrey make a bid for the Oval Office. "Are you kidding me? I was just trying to give a good speech," she told Ann Silvio on 60 Minutes Overtime, according to CNN. "I was looking for a way to express what was going on in this moment in terms of gender and class and race." She told Silvio the presidency is “not in my DNA,” an answer she also gave to InStyle last month.
But Trump still wants Oprah to run, so that she can supposedly lose. I don’t think so Donald—even your ex-BFF Steve Bannon thinks Oprah would come out on top. Trump and Oprah have a history together, with Trump even saying in a 1999 interview that he would make Oprah his running mate if he ever made a bid for president.
That’s all in the past now, and people aren’t going to let Trump get away with slandering Oprah’s name like that. Not today sir, not ever.
