Game of Thrones may not be coming back until 2019, but in the meantime, you can stay in a GoT-themed ice castle. Within the span of a month, Finland's Lapland Hotels SnowVillage and HBO Nordic created a 24-room hotel inspired by the show and built almost entirely out of ice and snow, Conde Nast Traveler reports.
For around $200 per night through April 4, you can go down an ice slide shaped like a dragon, sit on an Ice Throne guarded by an Ice Mountain standing guard, and sleep in rooms with Game of Thrones characters engraved on the walls.
There's a catch, though: It's about 23 degrees inside, so you'll want to dress warmly. But don't fear: There are warmer cabins to sleep in nearby. Those who dare to brave the icy rooms will get warm sleeping bags and hot berry juice to help them get through the night.
Outside the hotel in the village, which you can enter for $18, there's an Ice Bar that serves vodka shots in glasses made of ice, an Ice Restaurant that offers reindeer (which, yes, are real), and a movie theater where you can learn about the village while freezing your ass off. You can also ride reindeer, learn to make ice sculptures, and go on a "husky safari," though there won't be any direwolves in sight. It may not be Westeros, but until the season eight premiere, we'll take what we can get.
