Creed 2 is one of the bigger movies to look out for this year, and a new update has been revealed to make you that more amped for what's to come.

Romanian boxer Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu has been cast as the son of Ivan Drago, The Tracking Board reports. Sylvester Stallone also confirmed the news, announcing on Instagram: "Congratulations to Florian 'Big Nasty' Munteanu for getting the part as IVAN DRAGOS son! 27 years old , 6 feet four, 245 pounds of talent. #mgm #creed #creed2." This will be his acting debut.

The casting decision keeps with the trend of adding real-life boxers into the Rocky franchise, as previously seen with Andre Ward (Creed), Tommy Morrison (Rocky V), Tony Bellew (Creed's main antagonist) and Antonio Tarver (Rocky Balboa). Of course, Drago killed Apollo Creed—Michael B. Jordan's character's father—and served as Rocky Balboa's nemesis in the Cold War-referencing Rocky IV. There's no word on just how big of a role Munteanu will play, but it'd be no surprise if he ends up in the ring with Jordan.

Both Jordan and Stallone are back for the upcoming sequel, with Tessa Thompson (who recently kicked ass in Thor: Ragnarok) reprising her role as Bianca. Dolph Lundgren, who famously played Drago, will also return to reprise his role.

Creed 2 is set to hit theaters on Nov. 21, 2018 with Steven Caple Jr. taking over the director's seat from Ryan Coogler, who helmed the 2015 original.
