Game Of Thrones may not be back for a while, but the fan love is still strong even from fellow A-listers.
Last night, Sean Penn hosted his annual gala for Haiti at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, California. One of the offers on the auction block was an exclusive Game of Thrones viewing party with gala attendee and Mother of Dragons Emilia Clarke. The price started at $20,000, but as the bidding amount quickly rose, one auctioneer yelled “Is the King of the North here?!” King in the North Kit Harington was in the restroom at the time, but re-entered the room and agreed to sit in on the episode viewing. Pitt immediately kicked up his bid to $120,000. Sadly, he was outbid by another gala attendee who agreed to shell out a whopping $160,000 to watch an episode with the show's two biggest stars.
Despite the loss, Pitt was a good sport: According to Us Weekly, “He clapped and cheered when someone else took it for $160,000."
HBO recently announced that Game of Thrones' six-episode final season of Game of Thrones will premiere in 2019, the longest wait for the popular show's return.
