During halftime of the College Football Playoff National Championship game between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs, a new Black Panther trailer was released. Fittingly, Kendrick also performed at the game's halftime show.

The trailer, outside of looking amazing, also featured what sounded like new music from Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples. The track will presumably be included on the upcoming soundtrack Black Panther: The Album. The project will be produced by Lamar, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, and Top Dawg Entertainment. The song "All the Stars," which features TDE label-mates SZA and Kendrick, was released just days ago.

"Marvel Studios' Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director," Kendrick said in a press release. "The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I'm truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside [director Ryan Coogler] and Marvel's vision."
