Former All That star Amanda Bynes is gearing up to kick off 2018 on the right foot, i.e. maybe not asking Drake to “murder” her vagina. Bynes' lawyer told Page Six on Thursday, “Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year.” But that’s just the beginning. The 31-year-old former child star also “looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback.”
Bynes is currently enrolled at LA's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Earlier this year Page Sixreported producers had been attempting to re-launch Bynes' Nickelodeon sketch comedy series The Amanda Show. The show premiered back when Bynes was a mere 13 years old, and it enjoyed a three-year run from 1999-2002. Bynes went on to snag roles in films like Hairspray and She's the Man, before disappearing after her last role to date in Easy A (2010). In her first interview in four years, back in June, she said, “I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show that I’m the star of it."
Bynes has had a rough few years, largely dominated by substance abuse and mental health problems. There’s also the two DUIS she incurred, and a couple of hit-and-runs to boot. Bynes’ probation from her last DUI ended in February. The actress is sober now and regained full control of her finances over the summer.
