Tyrese "You Gon Get This Opinion" Gibson has been running his mouth about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for the past few weeks. This post is about Tyrese continuing to run his mouth about The Rock.

To give you a little background, Tyrese is in every single one of his feelings because the ninth—ninth—installment of the Fast & Furious franchise has been pushed back to 2020. The reason? The Rock got a well-deserved spin-off film for his character Hobbs, which will take precedence over the F&F follow-up.

Since Tyrese is a part of the original franchise, he's been particularly vocal about The Rock's alleged selfishness.

Entertaining, to say the least.

Fast-forward to Tuesday, and a shady little TMZ cameraman finds Tyrese lounging in the back of a limo or a Rolls Royce or some other fancy vehicle I can't afford. The first thing dude does is ask Tyrese about the details of The Rock's F&F spin-off. "Yeah, congrats to him," Tyrese replies grumpily. "I don't know what they're doing. Everybody coming at me like I'm hating on Dwayne about his spin-off—I'm not. The truth is, I just wish he was releasing it at a different time."

When the cameraman presses further, Tyrese explains that The Rock owes it to the Fast & Furious family. "Pushing our release date back, it's only happened one time in the history of the Fast & the Furious, when we lost our brother Paul Walker. So, what's the reason we're pushing the release date back now?"

Then, the floodgates open, and Tyrese goes in on The Rock specifically. "I just got a problem with Dwayne," he says. "It appears he's being selfish. It appears he's so focused on furthering his own self interests, he's making decisions from the seat that he's sitting in."

He continues: "Fast & the Furious 9... not coming out until 2020."

The shady cameraman: "2020? Because of Dwayne's decision?"

With a grave stare right into the camera, Tyrese delivers his last statement of the clip: "It's fucked up."

While all of this hullabaloo goes on, the folks behind F&F made a smart move and announced the release date for The Rock's spin-off: July 26, 2019. The untitled Fate of the Furious sequel will follow on April 10, 2020.

This could all be a big marketing ploy that Tyrese and The Rock secretly cooked up together. Buuuut... not likely.
