We get it, Martha Stewart: you are the ultimate lifestyle guru. No one can top Martha Stewart Living—maybe not even Oprah. Still, that didn't stop the domestic goddess from throwing some major shade at her website imitators, including Gwyneth Paltrow (GOOP) and Blake Lively (Preserve).
"She just needs to be quiet. She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart," she said about Paltrow to Net-a-Porter's magazine. She also says that Lively came to her for advice before Preserve launched earlier this summer, but it presumably didn't work out.
"I don’t get the sense she’s credible. She’s enthusiastic, but she’s not credible," Stewart's senior vice president Kevin Sharkey said. Stewart also has some choice words in the profile for Lean In author Sheryl Sandburg and Orange is the New Black star Taylor Schilling. To be fair, Stewart spent her jail time at the prison upon which the show is based. Still, Stewart's being pretty harsh on some people who don't ostensibly have any beef with her—think there'll be a backlash?
