Over the weekend it was rumored that Jason Momoa was cast as Aquaman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed this story, and added the fact that Momoa will also play a big role in the upcoming Justice League movie. Both Batman v. Superman and Justice League are scheduled to film back-to-back, according to the site.
It appears as though Momoa’s role in Batman v. Superman will be more of a cameo than anything, leading to a more substantial part in Justice League. There is no word on how Aquaman will be integrated into the world of Superman and Batman, but remember, Zod’s world engine almost destroyed Earth and its oceans during Man of Steel. That might not put the King of Atlantis in the best mood.
