Popcaan’s sophomore album Forever is here to rule the summer.

You can stream the project over on Apple Music or below via Spotify.

The Jamaican-born artist follows his 2014 debut Where We Come From with 17 tracks made for late-night parties. He has dropped several singles leading up to the release of Forever – “Wine for Me,” “Firm & Strong,” and “Body So Good,” which came out in May.

Can the dancehall king hold on to his throne? Forever has a good shot at getting the same universal praise as his first album. It has Popcaan crooning plenty of infectious melodies and exploring dancehall’s pop inclinations found on songs like “Deserve It All” and “Strong Woman.” All in all, it’s an album that Rihanna would probably dig into since she’s crafting her own dancehall masterpiece too.

Outside of music, news broke in January that Popcaan has landed an acting role in the Netflix movie The Intent 2: The Come Up. It’s a British crime movie that’s slated for a fall 2018 release across UK and Ireland.
