Following rumors that circulated last week, 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj have released their new song “FEFE,” produced by Murda Beatz and Cubeatz. The new release finds the New Yorkers trading bars about being NYC royalty, threesomes, and their clout. 6ix9ine dropped a Minaj-less version of the song back in June.

“I’m giving you guys one last music video this Sunday before I go to jail forever,” 6ix9ine wrote in an Instagram post last week. The colorful music video—directed by TrifeDrew, William Asher, and 6ix9ine himself—dropped a few hours after the song was released.

The new song arrives amid the rapper’s mounting legal trouble. Last week, he flew to Texas to post bail for charges stemming from a January incident when he allegedly choked a 16-year-old boy at a mall in Houston. The 22-year-old artist—legal name Daniel Hernandez—was picked up by NYPD on July 11 for the misdemeanor battery charge and put behind bars at Rikers. After a few days, a judge granted him $150,000 bail. Tekashi’s misdemeanor charge carries a maximum one-year sentence.

Hours after the song's release, TMZ reported that 6ix9ine was robbed and kidnapped during the early hours of Sunday morning. He gave two different accounts of the incident via his associates and to the police.

Meanwhile, the Young Money princess is preparing to release her fourth studio album, Queen, on August 10.
