T.I. Wants a $775K Lawsuit Against Him Thrown Out of Court

T.I. is asking a judge to throw out a pricey lawsuit against him.

T.I. is reportedly asking a judge to throw out the $775K lawsuit against him before it goes to court.

Bossip reports famed Atlanta jewelers Aydin & Co., filed a lawsuit against the "Dead and Gone" rapper in 2015 with allegations that he never paid off his huge debt with them. This includes a 48-carat diamond chain, $9,500 diamond hoop earrings, two $10,000 custom dog tags, a $24,500 women’s diamond bracelet, a $30,000 blue diamond watch and a $13,500 men's wedding band. However, the jewelers claim T.I. stopped the cash flow in 2013. But the Atlanta rapper is calling foul. He filed a motion for summary judgment on May 18 and claims he's not in breach of contract with them. He also said that if he was in breach of contract, it's passed the statute of limitations for them to sue.

T.I. also notes the robbery that took place at his home that resulted in more than $700,000 in jewelry to be stolen. But Aydin & Co. are adamant that it's those same jewels they sold him that were stolen and want a piece of the insurance money T.I. got for them.

T.I. isn't the only rapper to fall into trouble with Aydin & Co. Ma$e also went to court with them after failing to pay off $35,000 worth of jewelry over six years. The judge ended up siding with him. Hopefully, for T.I.'s sake, his judge does the same.
