Less than a month after he released his debut album Trap Holizay, Atlanta-based hit-maker Zaytoven returns with Let the Trap Say Amen, a full-length collaborative project with Lecrae.

The effort officially dropped Thursday night, about a month after it was announced on social media. Lecrae, a Grammy-winning artist known for his spiritual music, spoke about the album's inspiration in an editorial for DJBooth:

“When you hear the term ‘trap music’ you most likely think of an ode to drugs, dealing, money, and mayhem. But truthfully, the production sets the scene first,” he wrote. “Dope boys want to rap over a particular soundscape. Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, and Murda Beatz, amongst others, provide that. There was a trap beat before anyone glorified trap life over it and there are more stories from the Trap that have yet to be told […] Don't judge a book by its cover. The trap does more than say ‘Aye.’ It says ‘Amen.’”

The collaborative project spans 13 tracks and includes the previously released singles “Plugged In” and “Get Back Right.” The album also features appearances by 24hrs, Waka Flocka, K-So Jaynes, ShySpeaks, and more.
