Kanye West Announces #ProjectWyoming Events in Multiple Cities

That Cudi x Ye album is due this Friday and better be damn good.

Kanye West has announced multiple mysterious events. Announced mere days ahead of the release of Ye's Kid Cudi collab project Kids See Ghosts, the events will likely give you existential anguish and are currently set for Chicago, Miami, and Brooklyn:

  • Chicago June 6
  • Miami June 6
  • Brooklyn June 7

Each stop will also apparently feature exclusive merch. Additional info is available here.

The announcement arrives after Cudi's manager, Dennis Cummings, confirmed a Kids See Ghosts–related event was set for Los Angeles. In an ideal world, I will be attending said event whilst dazed and blazed.

Last week, West flew a litany of reporters out to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to hear his seven-track new album Ye. Though the live-streamed event itself was a clear success for all involved, including noted master of Instagram Jonah Hill, the actual album has proven to be a divisive entry in West's otherwise unmatched discography. The newly announced #ProjectWyoming dates are designed to emulate the Jackson Hole experience.

Though the latest round of events is being widely reported as listening-related, there's an equally strong chance that these are actually pop-up screenings for the Kids See Ghosts short film. West previously announced the short would be helmed by Dexter Navy.

Speaking of Cudi x Ye, I've been stuck on this classic for the past few days in anticipation:
