Scorpion season is finally upon us as Drake has released his fifth studio album. The project features 25 tracks, including the No. 1 hit "Nice for What" as well as Drake's latest single "I'm Upset," both with accompanying videos directed by Karena Evans. Guests on the project include JAY-Z, Michael Jackson, Static Major, and Ty Dolla Sign.
The Toronto rapper teased its release earlier this week with an album trailer that kept details to a minimum. In it, Drake is seen hitting the studio with Moderat's "The Mark (Interlude)" playing in the background.
He also teased Scorpion with various billboards throughout Toronto.
Given Drake's immense commercial appeal, Scorpion will easily top the Billboard 200 album chart, and there's a very good chance every song on the project charts on the Billboard Hot 100—the exact scenario that took place with 2017's More Life.
While things are looking up for the Boy with the release of Scorpion, there are a few topics that fans are looking for him to address on the project, most notably his feud with Pusha-T and King Push's accusation that Drake had a child with former adult film star Sophie Brussaux. J. Prince, who Drake has a close relationship with (Prince's son Jas originally discovered Drake on MySpace), and who Drizzy has shouted out on wax before ("I'm a J. Prince investment"), previously said the rapper had a "career-ending" diss locked and loaded for Pusha and Kanye West following the release of "The Story of Adidon." Prince claims, though, that he told Drake not to respond. Still, it seems unlikely "Duppy Freestyle" will be Drake's last response to Pusha-T.
