Five months to the day that Gucci Mane first tweeted his next album would be called Evil Genius, he's still teasing it via social media:
After a year in which he released three projects that included: his collaboration with Metro Boomin Droptopwop, Mr. Davis, and El Gato, Gucci is still yet to give us his first body of work from 2018. And though he hasn't given an official release date yet, on Monday, he said in a brief IG video that it would be coming soon. The clip also had a very short preview of some new music:
In addition to Evil Genius' TBA release date, Gucci also will be partnering up with Migos and Lil Yachty for their Glacier Boyz collaborative album. Oh, and also Rich the Kid recently mentioned a joint project with him.
Unfortunately, concrete release dates on those two ventures are unclear as well. Looks like you'll just have to hope you and Gucci's definition of "soon" lines up.
