Wale hit fans with something new Wednesday.
The original "Every Kind of Way" appeared on H.E.R. Vol. 2, which dropped back in June before being packaged together with Vol. 1 and some B-sides into a single 21-track album.
The H.E.R. update arrives on the heels of Wale's new cut "Negotiations" and his passionate public message of support for Meek Mill, whose jail sentence has been widely and frequently criticized by activists and fellow artists alike.
Wale revealed that he recently spoke with Meek Mill, a fellow Maybach Music alum, and that the two were both welcoming the "endless possibilities" of the future. "I'm grateful for the ups and downs because God/Universe will bless you directly and indirectly," Wale said in a lengthy Instagram note. "I'll see you real soon my brova."
The most recent full-length album we got from Wale was last year's Shine, featuring the Travis Scott-assisted "Fish N Grits." The 14-track Atlantic x Maybach release was followed in March by the surprise It's Complicated EP. For the four-track EP's sole feature, Wale enlisted Jacquees on "Black Bonnie."
