If you didn’t catch the last episode of OVO Sound Radio, you’ll be glad to know that this week’s installment features a nearly identical lineup of special guests: Anthony “Hush” Palman, G0homeroger, and Kid Masterpiece are back to deliver more mixes, alongside DJ/producer Venus X.
Saturday’s show marks the third time G0homeroger and Kid Masterpiece have appeared on OVO Sound Radio; their first appearances occurred only five episodes ago, near the end of season one.
Venus X announced her OVO Sound set via Instagram on Friday, revealing a number of artists who will appear in her set. Expect music from Kali Uchis, Jorja Smith, Sheck Wes, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Melii, and more.
“I recorded a mix of what I wish the radio sounded like,” Venus X wrote on Instagram, just hours before OVO Sound’s broadcast, “from rap to baile funk to afrobeat remixes and dembow flips, NOLA bounce, r&b and ballroom.”
