Toronto duo Once a Tree have a new Phoenix visual ready for your immediate enjoyment.

Wednesday, the group—comprised of Jayli and Hayden Wolf—premiered their new video for "Without You." Fittingly, the track gets a visual interpretation that's equal parts apocalyptic and romantic. In a statement to Complex, Once a Tree explained the concept as being about the power of choice within in a relationship.

"The meaning behind this visual is centered around the power of choice," Jayli and Hayden said. "Two people can be in the same relationship or go through a very similar situation, but view it in a completely unique way. It’s how we view these experiences that determines our story."

Phoenix, as a whole, came about after a particularly dark period for the group. "We were in a pretty dark place at the beginning of this year," Once a Tree told Complex on album release day last year. "Loss and life had hit us hard. And some of the songs come from that head space."
