Iggy Azalea can't seem to catch a break. The Australian-born rapper has a history of being ripped to shreds on social media for everything from her plastic surgery to the "blaccent." Clearly, the "Savior" rapper's contentious relationship with the internet hasn't changed.

A twitter user by the name of fadumo retweeted a throwback video of Iggy performing her "D.R.U.G.S." freestyle at the 2013 Splash! Festival. Though the thread wasn't solely focused on her specifically, the 27-year-old clearly took the tweet very personally.

"It was great being bullied endlessly until I literally wanted to die because y’all unearthed a trash performance from the beginning of my career. One for the books," she replied in a since-deleted tweet ending with "y'all ain't shit."

Exactly right. They are two entirely different projects. https://t.co/FAptUUhhrg

Iggy's forthcoming album Surviving the Summer provides a fresh opportunity for her to show the naysayers what she's really made of after her Digital Distortion project failed to see the light of day. Back in November 2017, Iggy tweeted Surviving the Summer is different from Digital Distortion's direction.

“Everyone I’m planning things with are people I worked with for The New Classic era and they are all really smart cool people,” the 27-year-old says of her new label. Iggy also addressed her new album’s season-specific title. “Firstly, I have not announced any date and secondly its not 'summer' themed so the season is beyond irrelevant.”
