The sometimey rapper had a lot to say in a little amount of time.

Lupe Fiasco is better known as a rascal than a lyricist these days. In the past week alone, he's raised eyebrows with some particularly sus claims. First, he accused Kendrick Lamar and SZA of biting the cover art for his upcoming album Drogas Wave. Then, he took it upon himself to tell the general public why he thinks Kendrick isn't a "top tier lyricist."

"I'll put it to you like this," he wrote in a series of deleted tweets. "K. Dot is not a top tier lyricist to me and my standards when it comes to punchlines and bars. His overall lyrics are good, his stories phenomenal, but punchline entendre lyrically I don’t see it."

Lupe prooobably knew he would get a plethora of side-eyes after making a statement like that. So, he took to Twitter—again—to unleash a minute and a half of perplexing but impressive bars. He attributed inspiration for the a capella freestyle to King Los, who had previously tweeted Fiasco for feedback of his song "Calm dat (Moor Bars)."

"Say impediments, and the random egotistical elephant in the room/Looking for something heaven-sent, like his medicine in the moon/Or intelligence in the heaviness of a tomb/How much a song weigh? 30 pounds for every entendre."

And boy, does Lupe know how to flip a ton. He can even do it while being mildly petty. You can listen to the full freestyle above, and patiently await Drogas Wave (and Fiasco's active Twitter fingers) like the rest of us.
