This year, we learned that Drake has been exploring dancehall and Afrobeats to expand his sound. On More Life, songs like “Get It Together” and “Madiba Riddim” showcased Drizzy playing with those world music sounds and adding his own flair. When he collaborated with Wizkid, the pair produced not only “One Dance,” but an incredible run of dance-ready bangers: the remix to “Ojuelegba,”“Come Closer,” and “Hush Up the Silence.”

Now, Drake seems to be tapping into those genres again for inspiration. This week, Drake was photographed with Nigerian artist Tekno. He is behind streaming juggernauts "Pana" and "Rara." Recently, he locked in with Wizkid for "Mama."

The photos must’ve been after they spent some time in the studio together, as indicated in Drake’s Instastory.

Drake and Tekno both shared their pics on their IG, furthering speculation that they might’ve made a song together.

Whatever the reason for this meeting of the musical minds, let’s hope it means Drake is continuing his hot streak with another jam.
