Hours after Birdman called out critics who claim he’s holding money back from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross delivered his own message to the Cash Money boss.

"Boy, you a year late, and five years late paying that man his money. Pay that man his money," Ross said on Snapchat, referring to Lil Wayne. "We know you ain't right. Stop with the jokes, nigga. Bring that shit. Bring it."

Rozay wasn’t done. After a change of scenery, the MMG founder addressed Birdman’s "shit talking" before inserting a warning.

"That’s what’s so beautiful about life, it ain’t no ceilings. You go far as you want to go. Have no fear," he said. "All that talking shit, nuh uh, all that shit don't work round here, baby. We'll put you in check, nigga, We'll put you somewhere else […] Shut up and pay niggas."

Ross has never been afraid to share his thoughts on Birdman or the way he allegedly conducts business. The Bawse has addressed  claims that Birdman has stiffed Wayne and other artists in the Rather You Than Me track "Idols Become Rivals."

"I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne/His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain," Ross raps. "I watched this whole debacle so I'm part to blame/Last request, can all producers please get paid?"

During an interview with Complex earlier this year, Ross spoke about the track and his intentions behind it.

"A lot of people may have took that as a diss record, but for me I hope homie took something from that,” he explained. “I hope something good come from that. I hope that him and Wayne will be able to work out whatever it is, and anybody else that's watching will understand there's different ways to deal with things."
