Last month, UK R&B legend Craig David announced that his seventh studio album, The Time Is Now, is due to drop early next year. Set to feature the likes of Kaytranada, GoldLink and AJ Tracey, the chart-topping crooner is no doubt in experimental and collaborative mood at present. So in line with this, today Craig David joins forces with producer Fraser T Smith for a tender acoustic reworking of new single "Heartline".
Handling the bulk of Stormzy's chart-topping album, Gang Signs & Prayer, Smith once again displays exemplary versatility. Speaking on the record and its composition, Craig told Complex: "It was amazing having one of my closest friends, Fraser T Smith, break it down acoustically with me again. We took it back to basics.''
