Diddy has been arrested for assault after getting into a fight with his son's football coach.TMZhas reported that campus police apprehended the mogul this afternoon after he assaulted the coach in UCLA's athletic facility. The fight reportedly spurned from the coach screaming at Justin Combs on the field, which led to Diddy confronting him sometime afterward. Diddy has since posted the $50,000 bail, and was officially charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and one count of battery.

Diddy is claiming self defense in the case, though TMZ sources say that he could have killed UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi if he connected with the blow. UCLA released a statement on Diddy's arrest, which clarifies that he attacked an employee with a kettlebell, and says that no one was seriously injured. Here's a quote from UCLA football coach Jim Mora:

“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved.  While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
