Person Arrested for Throwing Gifts Over Fence of Ohio Prison On Christmas Eve

The packages contained marijuana, tobacco, and cell phones.

A Christmas miracle was cut short in Ohio.

A person was caught throwing packages filled with marijuana, tobacco, and cellphones over the fence of Richland Correctional Institution​ in Mansfield​, OH. Ohio State Highway Patrol​ have identified the bringer of gifts as 21-year-old Avery Ingram. The gifter attempted the drop at around 9 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Cleveland's WEWS-TV reports

Ingram was caught and arrested a little while later near the prison. He currently faces charges of illegal conveyance of electronics onto the grounds of an institution, illegal conveyance of drugs onto the grounds of an institution, and criminal trespassing.
